Tybee Post Theater Welcomes Jessica Munch-Dittmar as Executive Director
TYBEE ISLAND, Ga.: The Board of Directors of the Tybee Post Theater is proud to announce the appointment of Jessica Munch-Dittmar as Executive Director, effective December 1, 2026.
Munch-Dittmar brings 15 years of experience in arts administration and nonprofit leadership. A South Carolina native, she holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from the University of South Carolina and a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from SCAD. She most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of the Fayetteville Symphony Orchestra and previously led the Greater Miami Youth Symphony as CEO from 2020 to 2023. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Education and Community Engagement for both the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Winston-Salem Symphony, building programs that served audiences from young students to retirees.

Munch-Dittmar also has local roots. While completing her degree at SCAD, she served as Creative and Performing Arts Program Coordinator for The Salvation Army of Savannah, designing community arts programming and coordinating performances.
Throughout her career, she has demonstrated expertise in strategic planning, fundraising and grant management, and fostering collaboration across diverse stakeholder groups. She has also served as a grant panelist for the Miami-Dade Department of Cultural Affairs and Culture Builds Florida.
“Through our search process, we had the opportunity to meet several experienced nonprofit and arts executives who see our Theater as an exciting growth opportunity, given our history, our place in the community, and our programming,” said Alan Robertson, President of the Board of Directors. “We chose Jessica for her experience and proven success with similar arts organizations.”
“I am honored and excited to join the Tybee Post Theater as its Executive Director,” said Munch-Dittmar. “The Theater’s history, its unique size, its valued place in the community, and its growing range of programming are a great foundation on which to build. I look forward to getting reacquainted with the Savannah and Tybee communities as I return home.”
